Therapeutic style

I offer in-person therapy in Queen Anne, Seattle and virtual psychotherapy across Washington State.

Many people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and deeply attuned to others, yet find themselves feeling stuck, overwhelmed, self-critical, or having repeated issues they don’t fully understand.

Many have spent years adapting: pushing through, taking care of others, staying productive and trying to get things “right.”

But over time, those ways of coping become exhausting, leaving you feeling anxious, disconnected, hard on yourself, or unsure of who you are underneath it all.

My role isn’t to analyze you from a distance or hand you a list of strategies. Instead, I work alongside you with warmth, honesty, and curiosity to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface.

I’m an active and engaged therapist, and I see therapy as a collaborative and relational process. Together, we’ll pay attention to emotions, patterns, relationships, and the ways you’ve learned to move through the world — not to judge or pathologize them, but to understand them.

Sometimes that means slowing down and making space for feelings that haven’t had room before. Sometimes it means noticing recurring patterns, exploring difficult experiences, or gently challenging ways of relating that no longer serve you.

Over time, this work can help you feel more connected to yourself, more secure in who you are, and freer to move through life with greater clarity, self-trust, and choice.

Professional background

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington (LH61366138). I hold a Master’s in Existential–Phenomenological Psychology from Seattle University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Gender Studies from Washington State University, where I minored in Queer Studies.

My clinical training took place at Seattle Counseling Service, where I worked primarily with adults of diverse identities seeking support around anxiety, trauma, identity and relational challenges. My approach has been shaped by continued study and training in psychodynamic, humanistic-existential and trauma-informed modalities.

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through the Institute for Professional and Creative Development and have advanced training in the treatment of Complex Trauma (C-PTSD). I am an active member of the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study, where I continue to deepen my understanding of analytic psychotherapy through weekly coursework, trainings and mentorship.

Commitment to personal growth

I believe to offer effective depth-oriented therapy, it’s essential to stay in close contact with my own ongoing growth and development.

To support my own emotional, intellectual and clinical growth, I participate in weekly clinical consultation, mentorship, advanced trainings and and my own ongoing psychotherapy.

I hold deep respect for the process of therapy itself and believe that continuing my own work allows me to meet clients with greater presence, humility, and understanding.

Why Resonant Space Therapy?

The name Resonant Space Therapy reflects my belief that healing happens in and through connection. It speaks to the kind of presence that allows us to feel safe enough to soften and change.

“Resonance” is the powerful felt sense that occurs when our emotional frequency aligns in harmony with another. It’s both a phenomenon that is biological and emotional: moments when we can feel our minds, hearts and nervous systems connect and synchronize without words. It’s the deeply human experience of being met and felt where you are, and knowing you’re not alone in it.

When we tune into another’s emotional world, we’re communicating something essential: I see you. You matter. You’re not alone.

Resonant Space Therapy, is both a name and an intention: To create a therapeutic space that honors depth, connection and presence. One where attunement and authenticity invite real healing to unfold.
